Welcome to uLead 2025. We are thrilled you will be joining us at the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel for our annual school leadership conference hosted by the Council for School Leadership of The Alberta Teachers’ Association.

If you have any questions during the event, we will have uLead team members throughout the venue wearing red and black plaid. The registration desk will also have our team available throughout the conference. This table can be found just outside of the Van Horne Ballroom where all of our keynote presentations are taking place.

About me

Steven has had an incredibly rich career, with over 15 years of experience in the education system as a Teacher, Principal, Director of Curriculum and subject lead for Wellness Education with Alberta Education, and Executive Officer with a provincial governance organization.
A Masters of Leadership, along with a degree in education, have supported the work he has done at all levels of organizations. He understands the unique needs of employees, executives and school divisions. With experience in change management, organizational behaviour, executive human resource management, and strategic planning Steven brings a wealth of knowledge and lived experience to my presentations.
To build wellness into his own life, Steven enjoys connecting with nature through hikes and off leash visits with his dog, time with his family, as well as tennis, camping and sailing.
